Our test is more than skin deep. As the first line of defense into your body, your skin’s health is just as important as the rest of your body. This skin test helps determine how genes can influence the skin’s ability to combat signs of aging, as well as markers that affect eating habits and how the body metabolises nutrients that support skin health.

Q. How do you support me with my results?

The SKIN DNA report format is easy to read with nutritional support included in the lab test so you can choose just the lab results with no support if you prefer.

In ADDITION to your lab results we provide the following options which are INCLUDED in the package prices;

A) Follow up personalised written report produced by our clinical team (click HERE for team info). Our team will review your results alongside the patient information you have provided us with and highlight dietary, lifestyle and biohacking advice plus links to a personalised supplement protocol, including specific doses and any further testing required. This document is personalised to you and is 2-3 pages long.

B) Follow up 45-minute video call to discuss your results and answer any questions you have. Once the lab has completed your DNA results you will be sent these via email with a link to book a time and day online. We have excellent zoom appointment availability with appointment slots usually available next day. You will also then be given the option to upgrade your 45-minute call to a 60-minute call for an additional £30 if you wish. During the call your practitioner will explain the results in more detail and what they mean for you. You can ask questions and ask the practitioner to focus on the genes that affect your specific health goals if you wish. After your call you are sent a personalised list of supplements & the dose your practitioner advises with links to purchase from our supplements store. This is for your convenience. You are of course welcome to purchase supplements elsewhere. Zoom calls are recorded (unless you request otherwise) and you are sent a link to download your video after your call so you can refer back to this for years to come as a reminder. Please note if the patient is under 18, we require a parent or guardian to be present on the call.

Q. When do I receive my results?

Results will be sent to you as a lab PDF. The same cheek swab is used for both the Ultimate and the SKIN report. If you ordered both tests at the same time then results will be ready at the same time (approx 3 weeks from sample being received back at the labs). If you ordered this test within 3 months of your original Ultimate test then the additional SKIN DNA PDF will be ready in approximately 1 week.

Q: What is the printed report option?

If you select to order a printed SKIN DNA report in addition to the PDF then you will receive a personalised A4 size, glossy, colour printed brochure, posted to you approximately 2 weeks after your PDF is sent to you.

Q: I currently have a cold / am taking certain medications - will this effect my results?

No. As we're testing the genetic code, which is fixed, the test is not impacted by illness, infections, medication, the food you eat, or supplements you take.
